HEY! Video podcasts are supported on AV Pro and higher podcast plans.

While video podcasting is supported on PodOps Hosting, not all podcast directories support video.

Podcast directories that support video podcasting

You can submit a video podcast to Apple Podcasts, Pocket Casts, Podcast Addict, and iHeartRadio using the same process as audio-only podcasts.

  • More information on connecting these directories can be found in your account under Directories.

Note: iHeartRadio, Deezer, Podchaser, and Amazon Music accept RSS feeds with video episodes. However, these directories will only play the audio of your podcast.

YouTube: YouTube will republish your video episodes directly to YouTube without needing to re-upload them on YouTube Studio. It’s important to note that YouTube will allow your audio to be played over your podcast cover. If you’d like the video to be playable on YouTube, the files will need to be manually imported to YouTube.

Create a video podcast on Spotify

Spotify does not directly support video episodes that are hosted anywhere besides Spotify for Creators. To work around this limitation, you can create a video podcast hosted directly on Spotify for Creators.

If you have an audio podcast that is already distributed to Spotify, you can replace audio files with video files directly on Spotify for Podcasters

  1. From Spotify for Creators, click on Host with Us, then Get Started. Follow the on-screen prompts.

Note: Your Spotify podcast will have a Spotify RSS feed and isn’t connected to your podcast hosted on PodOps Hosting. For new video episodes to be available on Spotify, you will need to re-create the episode on their platform.
