Enhanced Player

Easily collect subscriber emails and drive traffic to your website with PodOps' Enhanced Podcast Player

Updated over 3 months ago

PodOps' Enhanced Podcast Player offers all of the features of our classic player, plus several enhancements!

To activate the Enhanced Player, click on Podcast in the left navigation, click Manage on your podcast, and lastly, click Players in the top navigation.

You’ll see a button to Customize Your Players. Click on it!

Enhanced Player

IMPORTANT: When you enable the Enhanced Player, it will update all of your podcast players—EVERYWHERE! This means anything embedded on an external (non-PodOps) website and on your PodOps website will immediately update. This could impact the formatting of your page. Be sure to test any external sites before making changes.

Toggle this feature at the top of the page, and you'll instantly see a preview of the player.

You can follow our classic player customization guide here, to learn about the color and text options.

Call-to-Action Buttons

PodOps' Enhanced Players allow you to add multiple call-to-action buttons. When you toggle on the Subscribe button, your audience will be able to subscribe to your podcast anywhere you've embedded a player. All contacts will be securely stored in your PodOps account. (Making it even easier to leverage PodOps Connect for email and text message outreach!)

Simply toggle this feature on and the button will appear. Click Save to apply the change.

Here's a preview of the subscribe form appearing on a WordPress site:

You can also add up to three call-to-action buttons that link to external websites. You can use these to promote your sponsors, websites, or anything else you like!

Simply select an Icon, enter label text for the button, and the link you'd like your audience to visit. Click Save to add the button. You can click edit to update or remove custom buttons at any time.

IMPORTANT: You can activate and use call-to-action buttons on the classic players, but we don't recommend doing so. These buttons are designed for the Enhanced Players and may not be formatted correctly on the classic player. However, if you choose to add them to the classic player, we won't stand in your way.
