Who are PodOps Premium Subscriptions for?
Premium Subscriptions provide podcasters with a simple way for their listeners to financially support their show.
Am I eligible for PodOps Premium Subscriptions?
Yes, as long as you're on a paid PodOps plan, you’re eligible!
What type of earning options are there?
There are two different earning types: Tips and Premium Subscriptions. You can select one or both types for each of your podcasts and make changes at any time.
Tips give your listeners the ability to contribute to your show with a one-time or recurring payment. They can tip using a credit card and choose any amount you set. You can set up to four custom amounts. A listener can stop their recurring support at any time.
Premium Subscriptions allow you to create premium podcasts for your supporters. You can set the monthly subscription fee for your podcast and offer individual episodes for free to help drive interest in your show. This is great for courses and other paid content types.
How do I mark a podcast as premium content?
If you decide to use the Premium Content option, you will enable this feature within the Podcast Info section of your podcast. Just check the box to make the podcast subscriber only!
How much money does PodOps take?
The revenue split with PodOps is 95% / 5% (Compare that to services like Buzzsprout, where the split is 85% / 15%). You will retain 95% of your monthly revenue, and we will take just 5%. As your payments come in, you will see that revenue added to your PodOps Wallet automatically.
How do I withdraw my earnings?
As you begin to earn revenue through PodOps subscriptions, it will show in your PodOps Wallet. You can access the wallet in the Monetization section by going to the Wallet tab. There, you will have the option to cash out via PayPal or Stripe.
How do I track my monthly support?
Once your subscription is published, you can track your supporters and monthly earnings by going to Monetization > Reports. There, you will find all your supporter information and your monthly earnings.
Can I turn off subscriptions?
Once you have subscribers on your podcast, you won’t be able to disable the subscription on your end. You will need to email PodOps Support, and we can help you disable the subscription from our side.
Will my supporters be notified if I cancel my subscriptions?
No, we will not notify your supporters. You will need to share this information with your supporters before you turn off the subscription or cancel your account.
Can I contact my supporters?
You can utilize the SMS (text message) feature within your PodOps Connect account to text your listeners directly. This is a great way to thank them, and stay engaged!
